From Hook to Harvest: Tester Highlights

Pattern testing is one of my favorite parts of designing. There’s nothing like seeing my Stack & Stash Pumpkins come to life on someone else’s hook for the very first time. Each tester brings their own style, making every pumpkin feel special and unique.

About the Pattern

The Stack & Stash Pumpkin is a fun addition to your fall decor. It’s easy to customize with different yarns, sizes, and colors, so each stack turns out one-of-a-kind. The design makes it a fun way to stash your favorite candy and stack into an adorable centerpiece.

Meet the Testers:

@yarn_and_bloom

Yarn & hook: Juicy Couture Luke Velour in Licorice and Baby Bee Adore-A-Ball in Burnt Pumpkin, Sungold, and Navy with a 5 mm hook.

What they loved: “Anna always makes the cutest seasonal pattern! The stash and stack pumpkins are perfectly customizable, whether you pick three autumnal tones or stick to classic orange. The pattern includes plenty of pictures, clear photos, and a helpful video tutorial!”

@crochet_creations_by_lala

Yarn & hook: Bernat blanket in Terra Cotta, Sailors Delight, and Birch with a 7 mm hook

What they loved: “The pattern is so well written and easy to follow. I love how quickly the pumpkins and the hat worked up. It’s going to be a centerpiece on my coffee table this fall. 🎃

@wips.n.chainz

Yarn & hook: Hobbii Honey Bunny Candy yarn for the stack along with Bernat Blanket for the hat with a 5 mm hook

What they loved: “I love that the pattern has a rhythm—once you’ve made the first pumpkin, you’ll know what to expect for the rest. The hat provides a jaunty finishing touch, exactly what you need at the end of a project! And the pattern is versatile—I chose a fun, bright yarn so that I could play with the Halloween theme, but I can’t wait to make some more sophisticated versions as well.”

@hotoffhailyshook

Yarn & hook: Parfait Chunky in the colors white, cotton candy, and cloudy day with a 5mm clover hook

What they loved: “What I love about this pattern is that you can use it just as decor or you can fill it with candy. I plan to make each of my coworkers one as a Halloween gift!”

@knitzvitz

Yarn & hook: Loops and Threads Posh Purl and Big Twist Posh for the pumpkins, regular acrylic worsted weight to make the segments, and the hat was Premier Chunky Glitz, all with a 4mm hook

What they loved: “I loved the way you write your patterns, with the descriptions, pictures, and embedded videos. They were so helpful. For this specific pattern, I loved the versatility. I can use any color combos and I can choose to make just 1 pumpkin, or all of them. It’s already sitting on my desk at school 😊

@its.knot.knitting

Yarn & hook: Bernat Blanket, size 6 hook

What they loved: “I love that you can hide things inside! I brought the pumpkins to my office, and as a psychologist working in a Pain Clinic, there are days that my coworkers and I have had really long, hard days and the joy on their faces when I busted candy out of these guys the first day was amazing... and now they come in with a little smile looking for a treat that no one else knows is there. Joy is contagious, and these are a great way to share that with others!”

Thank you to all my amazing testers for bringing these pumpkins to life with such creativity!
